The Weems & Plath Endurance II 115 Barometer/Thermometer is a light, strong and durable brass instrument that combines both barometric pressure and temperature measurements in one convenient location. The barometer at the top of the dial is of the holosteric or aneroid type, which measures atmospheric pressure mechanically without the use of liquids. The open mechanism is temperature compensated, fully adjustable with both inch and millibar scales, and calibrated for altitudes up to 3,500 feet above sea level. The thermometer at the bottom of the dial shows both the Fahrenheit and Celsius scales. This medium-sized, front-opening, porthole-style instrument is weatherproof and guaranteed not to discolor.
